Google has finally added Push support for the iPhone. Obviously Apple is pushing Mobile Me, so Google didn't get Apple's collaboration on this. They bypassed Apple by using Microsoft Exchange to make push work. I've been using it for a few days and it seems to be working pretty well. I also kept the IMAP account setup because it seems as though the Exchange server is down occasionally.
